By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: Name, email address, company name, and job title when you create an account
• Payment Information: Billing details processed securely through third-party payment processors
• Communications: Information you provide when contacting our support team or participating in surveys

2.2 Information Automatically Collected

• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our platform, including features used and actions taken
• Device Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
• Cookies and Tracking: We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience

2.3 Metadata from Connected Data Sources

When you connect a database or data warehouse to Anglera, we collect metadata about your data assets, including table names, column names, data types, and lineage information. For those connections we do not access or store the actual data within your databases or data warehouses. Commerce and advertising platforms work differently, because publishing a catalog requires the product data itself; Section 5 describes what we access and store for those.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Process your transactions and manage your account
• Send you technical notices, updates, and support messages
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
• Analyze usage patterns to enhance user experience
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: With third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and safety
• With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share information

5. Data from Connected Platforms

When you connect a commerce or advertising platform to Anglera, you authorize us to read and write product data in the account you select. We access only the data needed to publish your catalog, and only for the accounts you connect.

5.1 Google User Data

Connecting Google Merchant Center grants Anglera access to your Merchant Center account through Google APIs. We access it to read your product data sources and the products in them, to publish enriched product attributes as a supplemental data source, and to read those products back so we can report what Google accepted, held, or discarded.

• What we store: an access credential for the account you connected, the identifiers of the data sources involved, and a per-product record of what we published and what the destination did with it
• What we do not store: your Google account credentials, your Merchant Center performance or click data, your customers' personal data, and order or payment information. We do not copy your Google catalog into Anglera
• How long: the access credential is revoked and deleted when you disconnect the integration or delete your account. Data source identifiers and per-product publish records are deleted or anonymised within 90 days of that point, as described in Section 7
• Revoking access: you can disconnect the integration in Anglera at any time, or revoke it directly from your Google Account permissions page

5.2 Limited Use

Where this section and Section 4 differ, this section governs Google user data. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the publishing features you connected the integration for, and for no other purpose.

Anglera's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to serve advertisements, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to others except as necessary to provide or improve the features you connected the integration for, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition after obtaining your explicit consent. No human reads your Google user data except with your explicit consent for support you have requested, where required for security purposes such as investigating abuse, or to comply with applicable law.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit and at rest using AES-256
• Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
• Access controls and authentication mechanisms
• SOC 2 Type II certification and compliance with industry standards
• Employee training on data protection and privacy practices

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, unless we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
