Blevins needed the gaps filled, not the copy prettied up.
A national manufactured-housing distributor had already tried one product-content vendor. After a long review for the next one, Blevins chose Anglera.

“We had tried another company, and they just prettied up our existing content without filling the gaps.”

Everything for the home, from one dependable source
For more than 60 years, Blevins has supplied the products that keep manufactured housing running. The company started in Nashville, grew through new branches and acquisitions, and made a deliberate choice to focus entirely on manufactured housing.
Today Blevins sells to dealers, parts stores, installers and community operators in more than 35 states, delivering on its own trucks. The catalog covers the whole home, from furnaces and skirting to anchoring systems and crawlspace supplies, and those customers need to find the right part, with the right specs, on the first try.
Thin data in, thin data out
Blevins’ product data had two sources of trouble. The data coming from vendors was poor, and past product set-up practices had added to the problem. The result was a catalog with gaps: records that didn’t give a dealer or installer everything they needed to pick the right part.
Blevins had already brought in a company to help. That vendor improved how the existing content read, but the gaps stayed where they were. A rewrite can’t supply the dimensions, ratings and pack quantities that were never in the record to begin with. Somebody has to go find them.
“They just prettied up our existing content without filling the gaps.”
Better words vs. complete data
The same SKU, two ways. A rewrite makes the description read better. Filling the gaps means researching the product and completing every attribute the category calls for. (Illustrative example, not Blevins catalog data.)

What the second evaluation was looking for
After a vendor that rewrote without completing, Blevins ran a long, careful review before choosing again. Three things decided it.
Fill the gaps, not just the copy
The first vendor improved how records read. Blevins needed records that were complete: the specs and attributes that were never there.
“…filling the gaps…”
A partner whose whole business is product data
Not a feature inside a broader platform or agency. Blevins chose a team that works on product data and nothing else.
“…solely focus only on product data…”
A fit for how Blevins actually runs
A solution that matched Blevins’ catalog and team, and a vendor that held up through a long, careful evaluation.
“…a good fit for our needs…”
Poor vendor data and past product set-up practices left us with poor product data. We had tried another company, and they just prettied up our existing content without filling the gaps. That made our review process for a new partner quite lengthy, and Anglera was great throughout it. We chose Anglera because they solely focus only on product data, and their solution was a good fit for our needs. We’re early in the process, but onboarding has been well managed with good communication, and Nichole is doing a great job.

Onboarding underway, results to follow
Blevins started with Anglera in September 2026. The work so far has been setting up enrichment across their categories and getting completed data flowing back into their PIM and storefront.
For a distributor that had already been through one vendor, how onboarding runs matters as much as the output. We’ll add results here as the enriched catalog goes live.
