eTail Boston 2026: when AI is the interface, product data is the storefront

eTail Boston ran August 10–12, 2026 at the Sheraton Boston, roughly 2,000 ecommerce and omnichannel retail leaders across three days of sessions and an expo hall. Anglera gave an Innovation Theater talk on Monday and exhibited at Booth K12.

Innovation Theater: Your products are invisible to AI

Ray Iyer and Amay Aggarwal showed what an LLM actually sees when it reads a typical product page, and why gaps in attributes keep a brand out of AI answers. On the expo floor, the team ran live before-and-after diagnoses on attendees' own product pages.

Takeaways

  1. 1

AI shopping assistants read structure, not marketing copy. A page with a great description and missing attributes loses to a plainer page with complete specs.

  2. 2

Your own site search has the same problem. The zero-result queries in your search logs are a free list of the attributes your catalog is missing.

  3. 3

Test before you buy. Grade a real product page with the free AI readability tool before you commit to any vendor, including us.
