PEPPOL (Pan-European Public Procurement Online)

The four-corner model

Transport runs over the eDelivery network using the AS4 protocol, with messages signed and encrypted for non-repudiation. OpenPeppol, a nonprofit association of network participants, owns the specifications and certifies Access Points.
